Create a related form

Learn how to create a related form in Realworks using information from an original form.

Related forms populate existing data from other forms, saving double handling and potential errors.

Step by Step Guide #

  1. Click the ‘More actions’ (⋮)menu next to the Edit form button.
More Options menu is available beside the Edit Form button.

2. Select ‘Create Related Form’ to generate a new form that inherits information from this form.

Create Related Form option is available in the More Options menu.

3. Choose the form in the same manner as you create a new one.

Create a form window opens to choose the related form category and form type.

4. Click ‘Next’ to continue with your selected form.

Related form type is selected, and Next is available to continue.

5. Name your new form and click ‘Create form’.

Form name field is completed, and Create Form is available.

6. Now you have a new form with information inherited from the first one.

Related form opens with inherited information from the original form.
