Schedule an inspection in Realworks

When you create an entry, exit or routine inspection form in Realworks, you can schedule the inspection in Inspect at the same time.

Before you begin #

  • You can schedule from three forms: EF071 – Routine Inspection Report, RTA1ad – Entry Condition Report and RTA14ad – Exit Condition Report.
  • Prefer to start on site? You can also start an inspection in the app. See Start an inspection in the app.

Schedule the inspection #

  1. In Realworks, select Create Form.

2. Choose the form for the inspection:

  • Routine: Property Management, then EF071 – Routine Inspection Report.
  • Entry: Residential Tenancy Authority, then RTA1ad – Entry Condition Report.
  • Exit: Residential Tenancy Authority, then RTA14ad – Exit Condition Report.

3. Select Next, then search for the property address and choose it from the list. You’ll see Address verified.

4. Select Next. Enter the Inspection Date and check the Inspection Time. This is the step that schedules the inspection in Inspect.

5. Select Next and choose the property manager. Their details fill in automatically.

6. Select Next, name the form, then select Create form.

7. The draft form opens. The Inspection Details tab shows the inspection date, time and status.

See it in the app #

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Inspect.
  2. On the Schedule tab, pull down to refresh. The inspection appears under Upcoming, with the address, date and type.

Good to know #

  • If you select Skip at the scheduling step, the form is created but the inspection isn’t scheduled in Inspect.
