Create a form using a template

Learn how to use a form template to create a new form with prefilled fields.

Form templates enable you to prefill standard information, ensuring consistency across the organisation as well as saving people time. Anyone can create and use templates.

Step by Step Guide #

  1. Click ‘Create Form’ as you usually would.
Create Form button opens the All Forms screen to start a new form.

2. Switch to the Template tab to build your form from a saved template instead of starting blank.

Template tab is selected in the Create a form window.

3. Use the dropdowns to find the template you are looking for.

Template dropdowns are used to choose the required category and form.

4. Here we’ve selected Form EF005a and one template was available.

Click next

Form template is selected, enabling the Next button.

5. From here, the process is the same as when creating a from from scratch.

Add the address and click ‘next’.

Property address is entered, and Next starts the address search.

6. Assign an agent.

Agent dropdown is selected, and Next confirms the agent details.

7. Name your new form and click ‘Create form’.

Form name field is completed, and Create Form generates the new form.

8. Here is the new form, created using the template.

Edit and proceed as you normally would.

Created template form opens in the editor, ready to review and amend.
