Realworks forms contain customer and contractual information that is highly sought after by bad actors. To protect you and your clients, Realworks enforces multifactor authentication (also referred to as ‘MFA’), which significantly increases security beyond username and password.
In a nutshell, there is one additional step after entering your username and password, depending on your choice of MFA, this can add as little as 10 seconds to your log in.

Auth0 Guardian App #
Install and use the Auth0 Guardian app on your phone. When logging in to Realworks, you instantly receive a push notification on your phone, enabling you to authenticate yourself with a single tap.

Third Party Authenticator App #
Install or use an existing authenticator app on your phone. You may already use Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, if not simply download from your phone’s app store. These apps provide you with a six digit code which you use to enter Realworks.

SMS #
Receive a security code via SMS, use that code to enter Realworks. SMS can be unreliable and time delayed depending on mobile coverage.
Security Key #
Use an existing security key (eg fingerprint scanner or usb key). Follow you selected key’s instructions to set up for Realworks.
